Pussy Willow ‘Giant White”  (Salix chaenomeloides)

These  willow are know for there decorative use,  large  1"+ white gray catkins on  brown stems. The plants are more "scrub" like at 4 feet tall and 3 ft wide, so give them room to grow.   They will not produce much the first year as they are becoming established but after that they continue to grow and produce. As long as you prune them to  3" every winter  to early spring. These love full sun are great in wet areas but do fine in sandy loam  as long as they do not dry out.

In March-April we will begin shipping our Salix un-rooted cuttings. They will look like sticks. Growing instructions will be included

These are great for wetland areas and cut flower production.
