A few weeks ago my friend Anya and I were planting tulips and the weather became strange. It was raining and sunny at the same time. I said to my friend Anya, “there must be a rainbow over us.” We looked over in the direction of the sun, where a wonderful phenomena started to occur: partial rainbow, and then a full huge rainbow that took over the sky, and then a double rainbow.
For about 10 minutes the sky and light shifted to create beautiful different variations of the rainbow. Fall rainbows are a bit of a rarity, so I wanted to document this amazing moment. I wish my camera and photography skills did better justice to what we saw in the sky.
