Growing Gorgeous Dahlias from Tubers
Join us for a spring workshop so you’re ready to plant dahlias that will bloom in late summer/fall!
Date: Saturday, April 15, 2023 10am – 1pm
Location: 353 Kneeland Flats Waterbury Center, VT
Join Nicole D’Agata of the Painted Tulip for an informative and engaging morning, where she will share her knowledge gained from years of growing stunning dahlias. We will discuss each stage of dahlia growing, from planting tubers in the spring to harvesting gorgeous blooms in the fall and storing your tubers for winter.
Participants will learn how to spot the “eye” on the tubers to ensure a successful planting. The workshop will also tuber division, which will allow participants to multiply their plants in inn future years.
