I was as delighted when I found out Collin and Kathrine’s Wedding was going to be featured on Wedding Chicks!! Loved this wedding!!! The venue Mountain Meadows Lodge in Killington, was so wonderful. They had a mini farm, with goats & pony, but my fave was the pot belly pig.
How rustic.. a pot belly pig at your wedding. It may not work for everyone but for these Brooklyn-ers it did! The venue was refreshingly relaxed, inviting and beautiful: with woodland, field and waterfront with mountain views. A bit of everything Vermont has to offer.
Like the couple the table designs were a mix of fun and delicate. With the bold pops of the yellow rudbecka, strong structure of the wheat, balanced with the delicate mix of Queen Annie’s Lace and fever few. I created her bouquet with some of our fresh harvested farm flowers . Using feminine flowers like lisianthus, fever few and pincushion flowers combined with bold structural flowers: billy balls, pincushion pods, dahlias and the wonderful texture of clematis foliage with there seed heads.
