Mother’s Day weekend is one of our biggest sales times of the year. Saturday May 11th is opening day of the Burlington Farmer’s Market and we will be there with bouquets and bedding plants, on St. Paul Street
Cut flowers: We will have long tulips, short posy bouquets (made from pansies and grape hyacinth), daffodil bunches, anemones and some pink ranunculus
You might want to consider the lost Victorian art of assigning meanings to these flowers:
Tulips=Declaration of Love
Daffodil= New beginnings
Pansy= Think of me
Ranunculus= Radiance, dazzled by your charms
Bedding plants: Pansies, blue lobelia, basil, tomatoes, nasturtiums
Check our Pinterest page for our verities!
Some people like to plant gardens for their mother, others like to pick up a big bouquet. Someone will be on the farm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday May 1o-12 for pick ups…so feel free to stop by the studio to check our selections.
You may always call to set up a delivery 802-279-4371.
We’d love to make You and Your Mother delighted with flowers.
