Truly and Jessica’s beautiful Vermont wedding from 8/27/11 has just been published on Junebug Weddings.Jessica and Truly worked closely with me on every detail of their wedding. They envisioned a romantic and current style informed by “shabby chic” style and tweaked with elements that had personal meaning to them.
It was a beautiful Vermont day for friends and Family to soak in natural beauty of the state. Many of the guests had traveled a long way and were experiencing Vermont in a new way at this freshly-styled wedding.
After the wedding the guest mingled in a cocktail area next to the barn we created an organic oasis of drinks, seating and decor.
We accented the outdoor setting with vintage details, apothecary bottles, and burlap tablecloths.
Inside, the dining tables were decorated with candelabras dripping with vines and dotted with flowers. The menus and table numbers had a literary theme and used real antique publications.
We filled the Barn with trees and fabric to soften the setting and imbue natural elements on the rustic scene. But at the end of the evening there is nothing more romantic then kissing during sunset! Jessica and Truly, may you have a beautiful marriage filled with sunsets and kisses.
Huge thank yous to all the Vendors who made this event possible:
Your florals and table decorations are just gorgeous! Love the literary-themed accents, too!
