This week we have had intensive rain which lead to flooding in most regions in the state. We actually have standing water in our fields which has never happened before becauise we have such sandy soil. So for once.. I am really glad nothing was planted.
But the Landscape is thriving. The grass is lush thick and green.. we are picking tulips from the cold frame.. lilac buds are nice and fat.. “coral charm” peonies are shooting up.. daffodils, hyacinths and the forsythia are blooming. Everyday is filled with floral fragrances, new colorful blooms, and beautiful song birds singing from dusk till dawn.
